What happened was this: I put in a new load to dry, pushed the button and the motor kicked on. It sounded funny, so I opened the dryer to find the clothes in the same position, so the drum had not turned.
Make sure electrical line is not overloaded and the dryer is on a separate circuit. Thermal limiter tripped. Call Sears or another qualified service dealer for replacement. Dryer runs but won’t heat.
